IP PBX and call centers — vPBX IP plus AI automation
vPBX IP is a cloud virtual IP PBX: one directory, call center and call automation over a secure VPN — instead of separate office lists and manual forwarding.
Who it is for
Multi-site companies, mobile teams or call centers that need one PBX and predictable inbound — not spreadsheet directories and ad-hoc line moves.
The problem
A classic PBX and separate lists do not scale. Branches and mobiles stay outside one directory. A site outage kills inbound. A call center without ACD/CRM loses call context.
Call centers
A call center is not just more lines. It needs queues, agent login/logout (ACD), CTI into CRM, recording and statistics. vPBX IP puts branch, home office and mobile on one directory and one routing policy.
AI call centers
An AI call center at KONEKT is not a public chatbot on your number. It is vPBX plus Private AI: intent classification, call summary, after-hours IVR and routing suggestions. Models run on-prem or in a private cloud — recordings do not go to a public LLM. Agents stay on decisions AI must not close.
Call automation
Automation covers IVR, one corporate greeting, group ring, failover forwarding and CRM write-back. The goal is less manual switching and fewer directory errors — not a bot replacing the whole desk.
What is included
- Cloud vPBX IP over a secure VPN: directory, extensions, group ring, numbers
- Call center: ACD, queues, CTI, recording, statistics
- IVR and one corporate greeting for the whole system
- Disaster recovery: pre-configured forwarding to a backup site
- CRM/ERP integration and custom add-ons
- AI layer via Private AI (on-prem / private cloud) where the use case is clear
- Managed on-site and remote support
What is not included
- Replacing your SIP/PSTN carrier contract unless that is a quote line
- Public multi-tenant AI as the only path for recordings and transcripts
- A per-minute saving guarantee without measuring current traffic
How implementation looks
First a map of numbers, sites and flows (in, out, after-hours). Then VPN and directory, then IVR and call-center rules, then an AI agent only on a confirmed use case. Sizing follows extensions and trunks, not a catalogue.
Integrations
SIP trunk (your carrier), GSM gateway if needed, Konekt CRM/B2B or an existing CRM/ERP, email for voicemail/fax, Private AI Gateway.
Security and operations
Voice traffic stays on the VPN. Recordings and transcripts do not go to a public LLM. Directory and recording access is role-based. TLS/SRTP where devices and the carrier support it.
Support
Extension, group-ring and number changes sit on the managed contract. Helpdesk: helpdesk.konekt.rs. Hours 08:00–16:00; extended cover is contractual.
Questions from sales conversations
How is vPBX IP different from an on-prem IP PBX?
vPBX IP is a cloud virtual PBX that KONEKT operates. On-prem remains an option when policy requires gear on your site. Both models can share one directory and VPN.
Will it work with our Telekom or Yettel SIP trunk?
Yes. The SIP trunk stays your carrier contract. We attach the PBX, directory and call-center rules to the existing lines.
What does AI call center mean here?
vPBX plus Private AI: classification, summary, after-hours and routing suggestions. Not a public chatbot, and it does not close a deal in place of an agent.
Where do recordings and transcripts live?
In an environment you control — on-prem or private cloud. A public LLM is not the path in this model.
Do we have to move to the cloud now?
No. On-prem, cloud vPBX or hybrid. We choose by site count, DR need and data policy.
Can we automate IVR without AI?
Yes. AI is optional on a clear use case. IVR, greeting, group ring and failover work without a model.
